SRINAGAR (KIMS) — A man has been arrested for harassing a college girl online in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir Police said on Monday.
Police said, A man namely Tabish Rashid Ganie, son of Ab Rashid Ganie, resident Shamswari Khankha Moula Srinagar arrested for continuous online harassment of a college girl (name withheld).
In this regard, a FIR No 64/2023 under sections 354, 354A, 354D, 506, 509 of IPC has been registered in Nishat Police Station, police said.
Notably, the summer capital, Srinagar has seen sharp rise in crime cases against women in recent past, causing serious concern among women folk. — (KIMS)
