MeT forecasts dry weather with clear sky in J&K

SRINAGAR — The Meteorological Department on Wednesday forecast dry weather with clear sky in Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.

The weather was cloudy in the Union Territory during last 24 hours.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, Weather is expected to remain dry with clear sky in J&K during the next 24 hours.

He said, Srinagar recorded 4.0 degrees Celsius while Pahalgam and Gulmarg recorded minus 0.9 degrees Celsius and minus 1.2 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Wednesday.

In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 13.1 degrees Celsius, Katra 11.1 degrees Celsius, Batote 5.6 degrees Celsius, Banihal 4.2 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 4.3 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Drass recorded minus 7.6 degrees Celsius, Kargil minus 3.2 degrees Celsius and Leh minus 4.2 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
