PULWAMA (KIMS) — A minor girl died in a road accident in Reshipora area of Awantipora in Pulwama district.
Police in a statement said, a 10-year-old girl namely Adeeba Arshid, daughter of Arshid Ahmad Shiekh, a resident of Reshipora Awantipora died on spot after she was hit by a Dumper bearing registration number JK01AE-3177 in Reshipora.
The Dumper was driven rashly and negligently by Mohd Haneef Khanday, son of Ali Mohd Khanday, a resident of Meej Pampore who has been arrested within hour of the incident and the Dumper has also been seized, the statement said.
Meanwhile, police have taken a cognisance under relevant section of law. — (KIMS)
