NC leader Imran Shah praises Omar Abdullah for monitoring Kashmir’s situation during winter

ANANTNAG (KIMS) — National Conference (NC) leader Imran Amin Shah today lauded Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for his commitment to overseeing Kashmir’s situation during Chilai Kalan, the harshest winter period.

Shah appreciated Abdullah’s availability in the Valley and his active role in monitoring the administration’s response to the challenges posed by heavy snowfall over the past two weeks.

During his visit to Doonipawa and the General Bus Stand area of Anantnag, Shah highlighted the effective response of the administration under the leadership of Omar Abdullah, particularly in restoring essential services in a timely manner.

He also praised the Advisor to the Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, for conducting extensive tours of North Kashmir to oversee snow clearance operations and ensure the smooth functioning of services in the region.

While interacting with locals in various areas of Anantnag, Shah assured them of the government’s commitment to holistic development, improved infrastructure, better public facilities, and transparent governance.

He also emphasized the National Conference government’s dedication to resolving the long-standing issues faced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir. — (KIMS)
