SRINAGAR — At least nine youths have been arrested for harassing and attacking a family in Parimpora area of Srinagar, Police said on Monday.
Police said that Srinagar Police took cognisance of a video wherein a group of youths on bikes are seen harassing and attacking a family on road.
They said that midnight raids were conducted by teams led by Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) West and Station House Officer (SHO) Parimpora and all nine accused were arrested.
Four bikes used by the accused were also seized, they said.
Meanwhile, Police has registered an First Information Report (FIR) in Parimpora Police Station and set further investigation into motion. — (KIMS)
