NTA announces CUET UG 2024 result

NEW DELHI — The National Testing Agency (NTA) today, on July 28 has released the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG result 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their scorecards at the official website — exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.

This year, the CUET UG exam was held in three phases between May 15 and May 29 and on July 19. A total of 13,47,820 students registered for CUET UG 2024. Of them, there were 7,17,248 male candidates, 6,30,565 female candidates and seven transgender students.

As many as 11,13,610 students appeared for the exam from 379 cities across India and 26 cities abroad. Of the candidates appearing, 5,19,283 were female candidates, 5,94,324 were male candidates and three were transgenders.

The CUET UG 2024 answer key for the tests conducted in May was released on July 7 and candidates were given the opportunity to raise objections against them between July 7 and 9. The answer key for the July 19 exam was released on July 22 and candidates were given time till July 23 to raise objections against the answer key. During the entire answer key challenge period, about 9,512 challenges were received and of them as many as 1,782 were unique challenges. Based on the feedback of the expert committee formed for the purpose, the final answer key was released on July 25.

According to data shared by NTA, as many as 283 central, state and other universities participated in CUET UG 2024. A merit list will now be prepared by the participating universities and organisations. Universities will decide about their individual counselling on the basis of the CUET UG 2024 scorecard provided by NTA.
