PDP should introspect its own failures instead of criticizing others: Imran Shah

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Criticizing the PDP for its recent remarks against the NC government, senior NC leader Imran Amin Shah stated that the PDP has primarily executed its so-called “self-rule agenda” to benefit its own family, leaving the people of Jammu and Kashmir to suffer due to its complete failure in addressing public issues.

Shah reminded Mehbooba Mufti of her family’s involvement in widespread corruption and nepotism. He called on her to answer the public about recruitment scams and illegal allotments made to her relatives, among other allegations.

Imran Shah further asserted that it was the PDP’s actions that left Jammu and Kashmir vulnerable to the aftermath of August 5, 2019. He advised the PDP leadership to introspect and, instead of blaming others, to apologize to the people of Jammu and Kashmir for their misadventures and attempts to mislead the populace with symbolic gestures like waving green flags.

Highlighting the National Conference’s accomplishments, Shah noted that even during a short two-month governance period, the NC achieved significant milestones based on its electoral promises. He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to fulfilling all its pledges under the visionary leadership of Omar Abdullah.

He added, “The people of Jammu and Kashmir have long suffered due to the irresponsible governance of parties like the PDP. In contrast, the National Conference is focused on delivering results. We will leave no stone unturned in our mission to restore the rights and dignity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.”

Shah emphasized that the National Conference’s dedication to the region’s welfare remains steadfast. The government is committed to creating jobs, improving infrastructure, and enhancing governance to ensure a brighter future for all communities in Jammu and Kashmir. — (KIMS)
