Peer Tehleel expresses gratitude to Khalsa Aid India for helping Afghan students

SRINAGAR — Social Activist and President of Global Students Union Peer Tehleel Manzoor expressed his gratitude to Khalsa Aid India and their administrator Mr Gurpreet Singh for their intervention and solving all the problems faced by Afganistan students in Punjab.

Tehleel on Monday wrote a letter to Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amrinder Singh to help and support Afghanistan students who are studying in different colleges and universities in Punjab.

The letter read, “Afghanistan students are really going through bad times and they don’t have essential items for survival due to financial problems. Even students who graduated this year are being directed to vacate hostels from their respective colleges and universities.”

“I’m very thankful to Khalsa Aid India team who provided food stocks for more than 150 students around Chandigarh, Mohali and nearby areas,” said Peer Tehleel Manzoor.
