Police attaches properties of two Pakistan-based militant handlers in Rajouri

RAJOURI (KIMS) — Jammu and Kashmir police has attached properties of two individuals in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.

“Jammu and Kashmir Police attached 5 Kanals and 14 Marlas land of Ishtiaq Ahmed, son of Mohd Zaman and 2 Kanals and 4 marlas land of Zahid Ali Khan, son of Mohd Iqbal — both residents of Bhattian village in Thanamandi Tehsil of Rajouri district in connection with FIR No. 04/2011 under Sections 3/4 EIMCO Act registered at Police Station Thanamandi,” police said in a statement.

The attachment was carried out in the presence of Revenue authorities today.

“These individuals are accused of activities linked to supporting anti-national elements,” the statement said.

“The attachment of properties is part of ongoing efforts to dismantle networks of Pakistan-based handlers and their associates operating in the region,” the statement added. — (KIMS)
