Police traced out two missing ladies in Samba, reunites with families

JAMMU (KIMS) — Jammu and Kashmir Police has traced out two missing ladies from different areas and reunited them with their families in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The families of both the ladies had lodged their missing reports in Police Station Samba and Police Station Vijaypur.

“On 24-12-2024, a written report was lodged at Police Station Samba by the man, a resident of Dunai Sumb Tehsil in Samba district stating that his daughter had gone missing from home. The family members made all efforts to trace her but her whereabouts could not be ascertained. Acting on complaint, a missing report vide DD No. 09 dated 24.12.2024 was entered at Police Station Samba and search started to trace out the said missing lady,” police said in a statement.

“Similarly another missing report got lodged at Police Station Vijaypur vide DD No. 21 dated 27.12.2024 in which person namely Bawa Ram, a resident of Budhwal Tehsil Vijaypur in Samba district stating that his wife had gone missing from home. Acting over the complaint, search was started to trace out the said missing lady,” the statement said.

“With continuous strenuous efforts, police teams of Police Station Samba and Police Station Vijaypur have traced out the said missing ladies and reunited them with their families after completing all legal formalities,” the statement added.

Accordingly, the said missing reports have been closed. — (KIMS)
