Residential house of drug peddler worth ₹1.10 crore attached in Anantnag: Police

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Police on Monday said they have attached an immovable property worth approximately ₹1.10 crore under the provisions of Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act in Anantnag district.

According to a police statement, the attached property comprises a double-storeyed residential house belonging to alleged drug peddler Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, son of Ghulam Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, resident of Nowshara Srigufwara.

Police said the attachment was carried out by Police Station Srigufwara in connection with FIR No. 54/2025 registered under relevant sections of the NDPS Act.

The property was identified as an illegally acquired asset linked to proceeds generated through narcotics trafficking and was attached after following due legal procedure, the statement said. — (KIMS)
