Saleem Pandit tenders apology over ‘insulting’ remarks against Nazir Masoodi

SRINAGAR — Saleem Pandit, Associate Editor of Times of India, has apologized for making insulting remarks against the NDTV journalist Nazir Masoodi.

“At a seminar, I inadvertently made some remarks about Srinagar based NDTV journalist. I withdraw those remarks and apologise for any hurt that may have been caused,” Pandit tweeted according to news agency Kashmir Dot Com.

Pandit had made some ‘insulting’ remarks against Masoodi during a seminar organized by the Indian Army’s Srinagar based strategic 15 corps.

He later deleted the tweet. However, Pandit admitted that he tweeted to tender an apology over his remarks on Nazir Masoodi. — (KDC)
