SRINAGAR — Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) Deputy Mayor Parvaiz Ahmad Qadri along with Joint Commissioner (Works), SMC, Assistant Executive Engineer Sub Division Nowpora Right River Works Division SMC, Assistant Executive Engineer JKPCC Srinagar, and other Officers of the corporation and JKPCC reviewed the status of a Marriage hall executed by Jammu and Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation Limited at Koolipora Khanyar area in summer capital Srinagar.
According to an official hand-out the Deputy Mayor, Srinagar gave on spot directions to the officers of JKPCC to complete the pending works of the marriage hall within a weeks’ time positively and hand over the same to Srinagar Municipal Corporation for facilitating the locals of the area.
He has also directed the Ward Officer, Ward No.07 Khanyar to conduct a special sanitation drive in and around the marriage hall to keep it neat & clean.
The Representatives/locals of Koolipora Khanyar and other adjoining areas have thanked the Deputy Mayor, Srinagar for the visit. — (KDC)
