Social Activist Sarfaraz Ahmad appeals LG Admin to improve basic healthcare facilities in far flung areas of Ramban

Srinagar: Cautioning the Administration to focus on improvement in the ailing health sector and to provide basic health care facilities to people at their door steps especially those who live in far flung areas.

Social activist, Editor in chief of daily Sada-e-Kohastan newspaper and MD of SK News on Tuesday said that the entire district Ramban lacks basic health care facilities, shortage of medical and para-medical staff, non-availability of life saving medicines and blood bank.

Sarfaraz also expressed grave concern over the infrastructural damages caused due to incessant weather across the various other parts of the Ramban District, saying people were immensely suffered due to continues snow and rain during ongoing winter.

“As a consequence of frequent snow and rainfall the power and drinking water supply has been badly hit while road connectivity with most of the parts remained disrupted”, due to which sufferings of people have increased manifold during the past couple of days especially in the wake of disruption in the mobility.

Sarfaraz Ahmed also expressed anguish over inadequate avalibilty of ration stock at various CAPD outlets and urged the administration to look into the matter so that people get ration on time and cant suffer during chilly season.
