SRINAGAR — One among the two CRPF troopers who was critically injured in a militant attack at Maisuma area of Srinagar succumbed to his injuries in a hospital, an official said.
Medical Superintendent SMHS Kanwaljeet Singh confirmed to KDC that the CRPF personnel succumbed at the hospital while as the second injured is stable.
The slain CRPF trooper has been identified as Vishal of 132 battalion.
The duo including ASI Niran Jan Singh was shot at near Dar Building in Maisuma this afternoon.
A police official said that a case under relevant section of law is being registered and further investigation is on. — (KDC)
