SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Srinagar-Jammu National Highway is still closed for vehicular movement while Mughal Road has been blocked again due to landslide at Ratta Chamb.
Srinagar-Jammu National Highway was closed for vehicular movement yesterday morning due to landslide, mudslide and shooting stones in various stretches at Ramban. The clearance work was going on.
Restoration work to clear the highway for vehicular movement is going on, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramban Mohita Sharma had said.
The Mughal Road was also closed for vehicular movement yesterday morning, however the road was cleared for vehicular movement later in the evening.
Today, the Mughal Road was again blocked for vehicular movement due to landslide at Ratta Chamb area of Poonch district.
The authorities have advised people not to travel on these roads without confirmation from Traffic Control Unit (TCU). — (KIMS)
