Student loses battle for life day after being shot in Anantnag

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — A student who was shot at and injured by suspected militants at Wanihama village in Anantnag district of South Kashmir has succumbed to his injuries at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura on Thursday evening.

Reports said, a Class 10th student namely Sahil Bashir Dar, son of Bashir Ahmad Dar was fired upon and critically injured by suspected militants near his residence in Wanihama village in Anantnag district on Wednesday evening.

Sahil was shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for treatment where from doctors referred him to Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura Soura for advanced treatment, however he lost battle for his life, they said. — (KIMS)
