ANANTNAG — Indian Army organised a plantation drive with theme of SAGA 2.0 at Anantnag.
The drive aimed to promote environmental awareness amongst locals. The drive included plantation of multiple saplings of different species at various locations to include Kashmir University, South Campus in which college students and teachers participated.
Locals appreciated the drive which is set to enhance environmental awareness among local populace and improve cleanliness of the locality.
Students lauded the efforts taken by Indian army to make bond strong between awam and jawan.They also said such drives should be organised to aware local populace for making environment pure and clean.
