ANANTNAG [Sheikh Nadeem] (KIMS) — Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm at Scholars Scientific Institute, Mominabad, under the guidance and leadership of School Principal Masrat Jan.
Students from various classes participated in the event, performing cultural programs, dramas, reciting poetry, giving speeches, and singing songs, all highlighting the crucial role of teachers in mentoring them towards achieving their goals. Skits were presented by the students, while several speakers emphasized the importance of teachers in shaping students’ personalities.
The program was attended by the teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and students of the institute.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal emphasized the vital role of teachers as true nation-builders and sources of knowledge and wisdom. She highlighted their contributions to shaping students’ careers and channeling their energies in the right direction.
She further stressed the importance of teachers in recognizing students’ hidden talents, helping them excel both academically and beyond.
Students from the lower and middle classes performed excellently, impressing their teachers with their efforts.
The Scouts, both boys and girls of the higher grades, collaborated with teachers to enthusiastically maintain discipline throughout the event. — (KIMS)
