SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Three persons were arrested for assaulting a media person in downtown area of Srinagar.
Police said, three miscreants who were drunk were arrested for assaulting a media person and disturbing peace in downtown area of Srinagar.
The trio, including main accused who hit the media person have been dentified as Aijaz Ahmad Sheikh son of Ab Rashid Sheikh resident of Chattabal Srinagar, Sahil Bashir Sheikh son of Bashir Ahmed Sheikh and Yasir Jabbar Sheikh son of Ab Jabbar Sheikh — both residents of Batamaloo Srinagar, police said.
Meanwhile, police has registered a FIR No 29/2023 U/S 323, 341,506 IPC in Khanyar Police Station in this regard and further investigation has been taken up. — (KIMS)
