SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Three persons have been booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) in Baramulla district of North Kashmir for their involvement in disturbance of law and order, Jammu and Kashmir Police said on Tuesday.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police in Baramulla district in a press release said, “While acting tough against anti-national elements, three persons namely Maqsad Ali Kohli, son of Maqsood Ali, resident of Navarunda Uri, Mohd Usman Bhat, son of Abdullah Bhat, resident of Sahora Uri and Ghulam Nabi Wani, son of Lt. Mohd Shaban, resident of Chandkote Kreeri have been booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent Authority.”
“They have been detained and subsequently lodged in Central Jail Kot-Balwal Jammu,” the press release said.
“Many cases are registered against these persons and were involved in disturbance of Law & Order and subversion. Despite their involvement in many FIRs, they did not mend their anti-national & social activities,” the press release said. — (KIMS)
