SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Two consecutive earthquakes struck the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday morning, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) said.
However, there were no reports of any loss of life or damage to the property.
The first earthquake, with a Magnitude of 4.9 on the Richter scale and an epicenter in Baramulla, occurred at around 6:45 AM at a depth of 5 km. The second earthquake measuring 4.8 Magnitude occurred at around 06:52 am at a depth of 10 km, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) said. — (KIMS)
