Two women die of cardiac arrest in Kashmir

Srinagar: Two women hailing from two separate places in Kashmir have died of massive cardiac arrest on Tuesday at Bandipora and Budgam district.

According to KNO Mubeena Begam, 30-year-old from Besbal Sumbal suffered a massive cardiac arrest at her relative’s home in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

The sudden death of the woman left the entire area in grief while her body was shifted to her native village Nesbal for last rites.

Similarly, a woman hailing from Nagam Chadoora also died of cardiac arrest at her home on Tuesday evening.

She was immediately rushed to near Dalipora hospital after she suffered a massive cardiac arrest.

However, the doctors there declared her dead on arrival.

The official identified her as 40-year—old Dilshada, wife of Abdul Rashid Ganaie from Ganai Mohalla Nagam Chadoora.

Meanwhile, the number of deaths reported due to cardiac arrest in the Valley has reached to 15 in the last eight days (KNO)
