Youth Congress leaders, workers continue to protest on second day, detained in New Delhi

NEW DELHI — Youth Congress leaders including National office bearers, workers continue protest on second consecutive day over the summoning of party President Smt. Sonia Gandhi and leader Rahul Gandhi by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

The office bearers of the Indian Youth Congress were detained by the police and were taken to vasant kunj police station where Senior Leaders including MP RS Surjewala, Senior leader Kanhaiya Kumar and NSUI National President Neeraj Kundan were earlier brought after detaining outside the office of Enforcement Directorate (ED) in New Delhi.

The Delhi Police had imposed Section 144 of CrPC preventing the assembly of more than four people in the area asking them not to violate the law. — (KIMS)
