2 drug peddlers arrested in Baramulla: Police

BARAMULLA — Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday said that they have arrested two Drug peddlers along with 145 grams of Charas like substance in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Police in a press statement said that during a routine naka checking, Baramulla Police arrested two drug peddlers namely Adil Mushtaq Bhat son of Mushtaq Ahmad and Mohammad Ashraf Zargar son of Gh Nabi Zargar both residents of Eid Gah Colony Kreeri, District Baramulla at Hyderbeigh Pattan and recovered 145 grams of Charas like substance from their possession.

“Case under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Pattan and investigation set in motion,” Police said.

Police said that people are requested to come forward with information regarding Drug Peddlers of their areas so that drug menace can be eradicated from the society.
