250 crates of apple stolen in Pulwama village

PULWAMA — Burglars on the intervening Sunday-Monday night, stole 250 crates of apple from an orchard in Abhama village in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Reports said that the apple crates were stolen from an orchard of Imtiyaz Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Rasool Mir during the night hours when whole village was busy in watching India vs Pakistan cricket match.

“Approximately 250 crates of apple worth Rs 220000 were kept ready for dispatch but when i saw today, the apples were not present in my orchard,” said Imtiyaz.
