ANANTNAG (KIMS) — Dr. G. V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, an Indian Police Service (IPS) Officer on Friday assumed the charge as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Anantnag.
According to official statement, “On his arrival, he was warmly received by senior police officers of the district and guard of honour was also presented at the District Police Headquarters, Anantnag.”
“The outgoing Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Ashish Mishra, Indian Police Service (IPS), handed over the baton to the new incumbent in a brief but impressive function,” the statement said.
“On assuming the charge the new incumbent held introductory meeting with police officers of the district and impressed upon officers to work with dedication and enthusiasm to mitigate problems faced by community members,” the statement said.
On Wednesday, Sundeep Chakravarthy, IPS, AIG (CIV) Police Headquarters, was transferred and posted as SSP, Anantnag while Ashish Kumar Mishra, IPS, SSP, Anantnag was transferred and posted as SSP, Srinagar. — (KIMS)
