Apple laden truck meets accident in Jammu, driver among four dead

JAMMU — At least four people were killed in a road accident in Jhajjar Kotli area of Jammu district.

Reports said, an apple laden truck bearing registration number RJ13GB 5654 on way to Jammu from Srinagar rolled down on road after colliding with a divider of a bridge in Jhajjar Kotli area of the district, resulting in death to four persons including a driver.

The incident happened at around 2:30 am during the intervening night of Thursday-Friday.

Soon after the incident, Station House Officer (SHO) Jhajjar Kotli visited the spot along with his team and took the bodies to the hospital for postmortem, they said.

Meanwhile, police has registered a case under relevant sections of law in this regard.
