SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Indian Army launched a massive search operation in the Panner area of Bandipora district in North Kashmir on Saturday.
The search operation was launched by a joint team of security forces following a brief exchange of fire with militants late Friday evening.
The Indian Army’s Srinagar-based Chinar Corps, in a post on X, said, “Suspicious movement was spotted by the Army in the Pannar area of Bandipora on the late evening of November 1. On being challenged, militants opened indiscriminate fire and escaped into the jungle.”
“A massive search operation is going on in the area to hunt down the fleeing militants,” they added. — (KIMS)
