Nasha Mukht Abhiyan: Cross-Country Marathon organized by HSS Hall Pulwama

SRINAGAR — A Cross-Country Marathon was organized by HSS Hawal Pulwama in collaboration with the Police Department Pulwama on Tuesday under the banner of Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan, spreading the message of a healthy and drug-free society.

The marathon commenced from the Social Forestry Office, Arigam, and concluded at the District Police Lines Pulwama, successfully conveying the message of fitness, discipline, and freedom from substance abuse.

The first position in the marathon was secured by Shahid Nazir, a Class 12th student of HSS Hawal Pulwama. The second position was secured by Kifayat Ahmed Rather, a Class 12th student of HSS Hawal Pulwama, while the third position was secured by Danish Mushtaq, a Class 9th student of Government High School Bandizoo.

The position holders were felicitated by Senior Superintendent of Police Pulwama, Ms. Tanushree, in the presence of Principal HSS Hawal Pulwama, Mr. Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed, and other dignitaries including Additional Superintendent of Police Pulwama, Mr. Shafat Mohammad, SP Headquarter, Mr. Abdul Majid Magrey, and Deputy Superintendent (DR), Mr. Syed Mohammad Shafi.

During the ceremony, the dignitaries were presented with tokens of appreciation, while the position holders were honoured with trophies in recognition of their outstanding performance.

The marathon was successfully coordinated by Mr. Arshad Hassan Wani, Senior Lecturer (Mathematics), HSS Hawal Pulwama, along with Mr. Nazir Ahmed (PEL) and Mr. Bashir Ahmed (PET), (Sports Department, HSS Hawal), and was further coordinated by Mr. Faisal Parray, Teacher at UPS Uzram Pathri, whose dedicated efforts ensured the smooth conduct of the event.
