J&K govt approves ₹6.38 crore for development of Khoo Sahib spring in Pulwama

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Jammu and Kashmir Government has approved a ₹6.38 crore project for the development of the revered Khoo Sahib holy spring at Yarwan in Shadimarg area of Pulwama district.

Announcing the decision in a post on X, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said the project aims to upgrade essential infrastructure at the religious site while preserving its religious and cultural significance.

The initiative is expected to improve facilities for devotees and visitors while ensuring that the heritage and sanctity of the shrine are maintained.

The government said the project reflects its commitment to preserving Jammu and Kashmir’s religious and cultural heritage alongside infrastructure development. — (KIMS)
