Tarigami condemns threats against Kashmiri Pandits, calls for unequivocal action

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — CPI(M) leader and MLA Kulgam Mohamad Yousuf Tarigami on Thursday condemned threats issued against Kashmiri Pandits, following reports that the government has sent members of the community on leave as a precautionary measure.

In a post on X, Tarigami said the threats were highly condemnable and stressed that the Kashmiri Pandit community is an inseparable part of Kashmir’s cultural and social fabric.

He said such threats by militants amount to an assault on Kashmir’s tradition of inclusivity and coexistence and called for their unequivocal condemnation across political and ideological lines.

Tarigami stressed the need to protect the community and uphold Kashmir’s tradition of peaceful coexistence and inclusivity. — (KIMS)
