JAMMU — Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday attended a meeting of the Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Council at Lok Bhavan in Jammu, where key academic reforms and measures to strengthen the higher education ecosystem were discussed.
The meeting reviewed the implementation of the ‘Design Your Degree’ programme and the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher educational institutions.
Discussions also focused on strengthening institutional collaboration, promoting resource sharing, advancing research and fostering innovation, besides enhancing skill development and outcome-oriented learning.
The deliberations aimed at aligning academic institutions with future challenges and emerging opportunities while equipping the youth of Jammu and Kashmir with the skills and knowledge required to meet the demands of a changing world. — (KIMS)
