JAMMU — A delegation of the Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, led by its President Arun Gupta, met Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at the Civil Secretariat here on Wednesday and sought financial assistance for shopkeepers affected by the recent fire incident at Shiv Market.
During the meeting, the delegation discussed various concerns of the business community and urged the Chief Minister to extend financial support to traders who suffered losses in the fire.
The Chief Minister was apprised of the difficulties faced by the affected shopkeepers following the incident. — (KIMS)
