Advocates in Jammu exempted from wearing ‘Gown’ in High Court till September end

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court on Monday exempted Jammu wing Advocates from wearing ‘Gown’ till September end.

The Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court in a notification said, Advocates practicing in the Jammu Wing of the High Court of J&K and Ladakh is exempted drom wearing ‘Gown’ with immediate effect till end of September, 2023.

It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that wearing of ‘Gown’ by the Advocates practicing in the Jammu Wing of the High Court of J&K and Ladakh is exempted with immediate effect till end of September, 2023, reads a notification.

The move comes amid surge in day time temperatures in the Jammu. — (KIMS)
