SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested a militant of Ansar Gazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH) outfit from Palpora area of Srinagar.
According to police, the militant identified as Junaid Ahmad Parray of Nawakadal was arrested by a joint team of Srinagar Police and 24 RR from Palpora, Srinagar.
Arms and ammunition including a pistol, magazine and live rounds were also recovered from his possession, police said.
Police has registered a case under sections of UAPA in Safakadal Poilice Station in this regard. — (KIMS)
