Airtel launches 5G Plus services in seven more J&K cities

SRINAGAR — Bharti Airtel on Friday said it has launched its 5G Plus services in seven cities of Jammu & Kashmir including Samba, Kathua, Udhampur, Akhnoor, Kupwara, Lakhanpur, and Khour.

Airtel in a statement said that its 5G Plus services will be available to customers in a phased manner as it continues to deploy its network and complete the roll out.

Customers with 5G-enabled devices can enjoy high-speed Airtel 5G Plus network at no extra cost until the roll out is widespread.

Airtel 5G Plus is currently operational in Kaili Mandi, Samba Market, Railway station, and other locations in Samba; Givndsar, Shivnagar, Rajbagh, and others in Kathua; Dhar Road, Shakti Nagar, Lambi Gali, and others in Udhampur; Ambaran, Balle Bagh, and others in Akhnoor; Panzgam, Sulkoot, Kupwara market, and others in Kupwara.

“Customers in these cities can now experience ultrafast network and enjoy speeds upto 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds. We are in the process of lighting up the entire Union territory which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more,” Verma added. — (Agencies)
