ANANTNAG (Sheikh Nadeem) — The Indian Army’s 19 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) on Wednesday organized a Basketball competition in Larkipora area of Anantnag district in South Kashmir.
In Competition four teams from different adjacent schools participated in this competition and the matches were played in a true spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie.
Anjeeth Orhri, Colonel 19 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) was the chief guest on the occasion.
Anjeeth said, “It is good to see the young students participating in sports activities which is good for their overall development. The students must continue to participate in such programs to show their talent.”
At the end, the achievers were given awards for the great performances, they were also encouraged to continue their participation in such sports activities in future as well.
The students who took part in this competition expressed their gratitude to the army for organizing the sports competition and requested for the conduct of similar sports activities in future. — (KIMS)
