KUPWARA — Ashraya Hastha Trust along with 2 other NGOs Mantra4change and Suriya Foundation in collaboration with Indian Army sets up an health care facility which caters to close to 30000 people along LoC in Kupwara district in North Kashmir.
The villages are remote and people had to travel a minimum of 4 hours to access the nearest Hospital. Through this initiative of the NGOs, it aims to save a lot of lives in catering to emergencies of pregnant women and wounded civilians due to cross border firing .
The set up includes an emergency operation theatre, beds with monitors, medicines and other critical life saving equipments.
