JAMMU (KIMS) — Senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officer Mr. Atal Dulloo took over as the new Chief Secretary of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
Dulloo received a rousing reception from the large number of employees at the Civil Secretariat Jammu this morning and presented bouquets to him.
The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India appointed Mr. Atal Dulloo as the new Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday (November 29th) and was assumed to take charge from Friday (December 1st).
Dulloo, a 1989 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officer was repatriated to his parent cadre, Jammu and Kashmir by the Home Ministry on November 20th.
Dulloo was posted as Secretary in Department of Border Management before being repatriated to his parent cadre last month.
Dulloo replaced Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta as the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir who attained superannuation at the end of November. — (KIMS)
