PULWAMA (KIMS) — The Health Department of NCC Limited, in collaboration with the Government Bone and Joint Hospital Srinagar, CPWD, and AIIMS Awantipora, successfully hosted a blood donation camp at AIIMS Awantipora in Pulwama district.

This marks the third consecutive year the department has organized such an event.

Faisal Alam Bhat, Incharge of the Health Department at NCC Limited, emphasized the importance of the initiative.

He highlighted the many benefits of blood donation and encouraged people to overcome their fears and participate.

“Donating blood is a noble act that can save lives in critical situations,” Bhat said.

He urged individuals, especially the youth, to recognize the significance of blood donation and get involved in these programs.

Bhat also reminded that eligible donors should be between 18 and 65 years old, in good health, and not on any medications.

The camp provided refreshments to donors and motivated them to continue this life-saving practice.

Participants were satisfied with the camp’s facilities and services.
