SRINAGAR – The Central University of Kashmir has postponed all offline exams in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. The new dates will be announced later.
“It is notified for the information of all concerned examinees that all examinations scheduled from 27th April 2020 notified vide no. CUK/ ESE/Sem/2021/320/392 dated 13 April 2021 are hereby postponed till further orders,” read a notice from Officer on special Duty to Examinations and evaluation wing (EEW) Central University of Kashmir a copy of which lies with News Agency Kashmir Dot Com.
Vice Chancellor (CUK) Prof Mehraj-ud-din told News Agency Kashmir Dot Com that the decisions to this effect were taken after detailed deliberations over the prevailing circumstances at a high-level meeting of the varsity’s advisory committee comprising all heads of the department.
He said that the University has also decided to hold online classes for all the subjects from May 03.
Amid the second wave of coronavirus across the country, several state and central universities have already postponed exams for UG and PG students. – (KDC)
