Chandan Kohli relieved, Vinod Kumar posted as SSP Jammu

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Home Department of Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday relieved Chandan Kohli, an Indian Police Service (IPS) Officer from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to an order, “Shri Chandan Kohli, an Indian Police Service (IPS) Officer has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Senior Executive Cadre of the Cabinet Secretariat, on deputation basis, for a period of 04 years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders.”

“Shri Vinod Kumar, an Indian Police Service (IPS) Officer, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Udhampur has been transferred and posted as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Jammu,” reads and order.

The order further reads, “Shri Swarn Singh Kotwal, an Indian Police Service (IPS) Officer, Commandant, SDRF 1st Bn., Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as Director, Special Security Force, J&K, vice Shri Joginder Singh while Shri Joginder Singh, Director, Special Security Force, J&K, has been posted as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Udhampur, vice Shri Vinod Kumar. — (KIMS)
