SRINAGAR (KIMS) — General Secretary, Pradesh Congress Committee, Jammu and Kashmir, Surinder Singh Channi greeted people of Jammu and Kashmir on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Channi also prayed for peace, prosperity and development of Jammu and Kashmir.
I extend my greetings and best wishes to the people of our country, particularly to the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Channi said in a statement.
Eid-ul-Fitr marks the culmination of the period of fasting and prayer during the holy month of Ramadan, and infuses in us a sense of brotherhood and spirit of joy, the statement said.
May Eid-ul-Fitr instill a sense of the essential unity of all faiths and pride in the composite culture of India, the statement added. — (KIMS)
