Civilian injured in Srinagar grenade attack

SRINAGAR — A civilian was injured after militants hurled a grenade on security forces in Kashmir capital Srinagar on Sunday evening, reports said.

Reports said that some unknown militants hurled a grenade near Mirza Kamil Chowk here towards CRPF 28 Battalion D coy patrolling party due to which one Civilian namely Sameer Ahmed Malla (35) son of Manzoor Ahmed Malla, a resident of Habak sustained minor injury accordingly was brought to SKIMS Soura.

The glasses of one private Maruti car bearing registration no DL4NV 7555 got damaged.

Police have rushed to spot and the searches have been launched to nab the attackers. — (KDC)
