Clear sky in Jammu and Kashmir for next 24 hours: MeT

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Meteorological Department on Friday forecast clear sky with bright sunshine in Jammu and Kashmir for the next 24 hours.

The weather was dry in the Union Territory during last 24 hours.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, Clear sky with bright sunshine is expected in J&K during the next 24 hours.

He said, Srinagar recorded 4.4 degrees Celsius while Pahalgam and Gulmarg recorded minus 1.8 degrees Celsius and minus 1.6 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Friday.

In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 13.7 degrees Celsius, Katra 12.6 degrees Celsius, Batote 8.7 degrees Celsius, Banihal 7.1 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 4.3 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Kargil recorded minus 0.6 degrees Celsius and Leh minus 6.0 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
