JAMMU (KIMS) — A Sub-Inspector of Jammu and Kashmir Police and a gangster were killed in a shoot-out at Government Medical College (GMC), Kathua last night.
Reports said, the shoot-out took place between Jammu and Kashmir Police and a group of gangsters in the premises of Government Medical College (GMC), Kathua at around 10:35 pm on Tuesday, which resulted in death of a gangster who identification was yet to be known.
Two policeman, including Police Sub-Inspector Deepak Sharma and Special Police Officers (SPO) Anil Kumar received injuries during the shoot-out. Deepak was shifted from Government Medical College (GMC), Kathua to Amandeep Hospital, Pathankot for advanced treatment, however he succumbed to his injuries this morning while Anil Kumar is undergoing treatment, they said. — (KIMS)
