Dry, clear sky in Jammu and Kashmir for next 24 hours: MeT

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Meteorological Department on Tuesday forecast mainly dry warmer weather with clear sky in Jammu and Kashmir for the next 24 hours.

The weather was dry and clear in the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, Mainly dry warmer weather with clear sky is expected in J&K during the next 24 hours.

He said, Srinagar recorded 8.3 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam 1.6 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg 4.6 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Tuesday.

In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 20.6 degrees Celsius, Katra 16.1 degrees Celsius, Batote 10.7 degrees Celsius, Banihal 7.8 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 7.9 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Kargil recorded 3.1 degrees Celsius while Leh recorded minus 1.2 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
