SRINAGAR — The Meteorological Department on Tuesday forecast dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir for next 24 hours.
It said, there is no likelihood of rain and snowfall till February end.
An official of the Meteorological Department said, weather is likely to remain dry in J&K during the next 24 hours. There is no likelihood of any major rain or snowfall till the end of February.
He said, Srinagar recorded 5.0 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam 0.8 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg minus 3.5 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.
In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 13.7 degrees Celsius, Katra 11.7 degrees Celsius, Batote 7.6 degrees Celsius, Banihal 6.2 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 4.7 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.
In Ladakh region, he said, Drass recorded minus 10.1 degrees Celsius, Kargil minus 4.0 degrees Celsius and Leh minus 5.6 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.
