Dry weather in J&K for next 24 hours: MeT

SRINAGAR — The Meteorological Department on Saturday forecast dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir for next 24 hours.

The weather was inclement during last 24 hours in the Union Territory.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, partly cloudy dry weather is likely in J&K during next 24 hours.

He said, Srinagar recorded 6.4 degrees Celsius and Pahalgam 1.2 degrees Celsius while Gulmarg recorded minus 1.0 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 13.2 degrees Celsius, Katra 13.6 degrees Celsius, Batote 9.2 degrees Celsius, Banihal 6.4 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 7.0 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Drass recorded minus 7.8 degrees Celsius, Kargil minus 4.6 degrees Celsius and Leh minus 2.8 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
